Happiness... V2.0

Continuing from the last blog...

Moving on to see/analyse what happiness is from a different perspective...

As a child happiness to me always meant a bar of chocolate or a small candy would also do.. I grew up and at a teen age my happiness was satisfied by a good movie, a good evening with friends or a good outing on a weekend... More...I grew up and started working and now my happiness is not satisfied even if I get a handsome salary to survive.. I need more!

So where is the same old person whose satisfaction was just a bar of chocolate and today a good handsome salary does not satisy him... The hidden word here is need...

I have always felt that your need goes up the more you see the world and nderstand it;know it better.

Just to clarify more on this point - A guy of my age who has been through to many places and has known so many things and understood them would not be happy with even 5 times of my salary! Why ?

Because he knows things and understands them and has the knowledge that he can aim for more..

To the best of my knowledge I know that my handsome salary is what I will get for my work... But to the knowledge of the other guy he knows that there are better things that he can aim and hope for for the same level is mine... I am not arguing here that I am getting a low salary..This is just an example to explain that your complete satisfication of your needs is what brings happiness to you.

True satisfaction of one's self is what i would term to be happiness.. Importantly, immaterial satisfaction and thereby complete and true happiness is achieved..
