E.I.G.H.T.L.E.S.S.

Weird title, it sees to be but it's a card game that one of our friends thought us. My friend Vijay was here for a brief period and he would visit us at times as he did not knew much people out here. This is the case with all those who come here for all people who come here for a short term...

It was christmas time and we had holidays written all over us - it was the start of the most laziest season of the year - the end of the year...

The end of year brought in a new start to my thinking process..... This game can be played best in a group of 6 or 8 divided into 2 teams. One of the team starts to take its turn of asking the cards from the other team..One player if the team would ask for a card that he is interested provided he has a card of that group with him.. There are a lot of rules to it and teams take their turn to forma major or a minor group to win points..... It was then when thoughts started striking to reveal its resemblance to life..

We take our turns to ask people for what we want (directly or indirectly) to fulfill our wishes and dreams and what not... It becomes a habit and as in the game we take more risk to win more points... It boils down to how much you are willing to take a risk and every minute of it looks like the next moment it would be someone else who would snatch everything from us...

But, when its our own turn we start asking for everything and anything possible.... but 4 things that people forget,

1. they can ask for what they deserve - similar to the way how you can demand for a card only if you have another card of the same group....

2. we always tend to forget that we have limits of our own and there are others as well who deserve more or in a darker sense - some are ready to stamp us and move forward if we do not deserve it or actaccordingly... - similar to the formation that a person can have just 8 or 6 cards only at the start in a group of 6 0r 8...

3. in between taking risks one need to understand that there is a thin line between a minr and a major group and the risk is double that we take... - take risks or brave steps forward only when you are sure of achieving of it rather than just stamping on a pothole filled with water during a rainy season.... - similar to the way that there is a difference between the major and the minor group and the major group has double the points than the minor...

4. everyone when playing this game of eightless forget that the game gives all of its fun when something called the number 8 is sacrificed.... - synonymous to the sacrifices we or our dear ones do in our life to remain happy and enjoy our life...
